Adult Counselling
In the modern, fast paced world we live in, we have more personal pressure now than in any other time in history. Whether it be working, raising a family, providing for others financially and emotionally, life can be tiring, stressful and sometimes feel overwhelming.
Factors such as financial insecurity, pressure to keep appearances and consumerism are magnified by social media and the idea that we must have certain things to feel successful in life. This can lead to feelings of insecurity, low self esteem and inadequacy both as an individual and a parent.
These feelings can develop into more serious mental health issues such as stress, depression and anxiety. These are just some of the things counselling can help with, however there are an infinite number of reasons why a person may seek counselling.
